Terms of order

These are the terms on page 2 of the VITVEIS order form. You accept them when you sign your order in our showroom (Hegdehaugsveien 34, Oslo).

1. Your order

Every VITVEIS piece is made for you in our studio in Riga after you order. Your order is confirmed when this form is signed and the deposit is paid. The delivery time is 12–16 weeks for dresses, 8–12 weeks for tops and skirts, and 6–12 weeks for veils. The OREN top takes 16 weeks, and the IEVA, IMAN and FOREST skirts 12–16 weeks.

2. Payment

You pay a 50% deposit when you order. When your order has arrived in our showroom, it must be picked up and paid in full (or paid before we ship it). All prices are in NOK including VAT.

3. If you change your mind

Please tell us in writing (e-mail or message).

Within 14 days, before we have bought fabric for your order: full refund.

After fabric is bought, before cutting and sewing start: we refund 50% of what you have paid.

When your piece is in production (cut and being sewn) or almost ready: the deposit is not refunded. Sale items (sale dresses and showroom samples) cannot be returned or refunded.

4. Size and fit

Pieces are made in our standard sizes unless "Made to measure" is ticked on the front. For made to measure, we make your piece from the measurements we take in the showroom.

We measure you again at pick-up. The length must be adjusted on all orders, because the height of your shoes and the stretch of the fabric change the final length. Even a made-to-measure piece may need small adjustments for the perfect fit. Adjustments and hemming are done by your tailor and are not included in the price.

Important: please tell us if your measurements change by more than 2 cm before your piece is cut.

5. Handmade

Every piece is cut and sewn by hand. Small differences in stitching, lace placement and shade between pieces, samples and photos are part of handmade work and natural fabrics such as silk and linen. They are not faults. We always do our very best.

6. If something is wrong

If you find a fault in the fabric or in our work, contact us as soon as possible. We repair it free of charge within 4 weeks. If it cannot be repaired, we make the piece again or give you your money back.

This comes in addition to your rights under Norwegian consumer law (forbrukerkjøpsloven).

7. Delivery and pick-up

We recommend ordering at least 6 months before your wedding, so your look is ready 2 months before and there is time for alterations. It is a good idea to book your tailor before your look arrives in our showroom.

We keep you updated on the exact delivery date. Your order must be picked up and paid in full within 4 weeks after it has arrived in our showroom.

8. Care

Follow the care label. We are not responsible for damage from wear, washing or cleaning, or alterations made by others.

9. Your details

We only use your details to handle your order and keep in touch about it. Photos are only shared if you have said yes on the front.
